Welcome to QTNA2018 Homepage!

The 13th International Conference on Queueing Theory and Network Applications (QTNA2018) is a continuation of the series of successful QTNA conferences-QTNA2006 (Seoul, Korea), QTNA2007 (Kobe, Japan), QTNA2008 (Taipei, Taiwan), QTNA2009 (Singapore), QTNA2010 (Beijing, China), QTNA2011 (Seoul, Korea), QTNA2012 (Kyoto, Japan), QTNA2013 (Taichung, Taiwan), QTNA2014 (Bellingham, USA), QTNA2015 (Hanoi, Vietnam), QTNA2016 (Wellington, New Zealand) and QTNA2017 (Qinhuangdao, China).

The QTNA2018 conference aims to promote the knowledge and development of high-quality research on queueing theory and its applications to networks and other related fields. It brings together researchers, scientists and practitioners from the world and offers an open forum to share the latest important research accomplishments and challenging problems in the area of queueing theory and network applications. The conference will cover all the key topics in queueing theory and network applications.

The QTNA2018 conference will be held in Tsukuba City, Japan, July 25-27, 2018. The poster of the Call for Papers can be downloaded from here.

Authors of the papers accepted and also presented at QTNA2018 are cordially invited to submit the extended version of their papers to the special issues on the ISI-indexed journals:

Call for Papers: Annals of Operations Research.

Call for Papers: Journal of Industrial and Management Optimization (JIMO), AIMS.

Professor Benny Van Houdt will give a keynote talk at our conference.

Professor Moshe Haviv will give a tutorial lecture at our conference.

Professor Hisashi Kobayashi will give an honorary talk entitled "Origins and perspectives of system performance evaluation".

The Organizing Committee and the Technical Program Committee presented two awards as follows:

(a) Best Paper Award: It is given to the author(s) of the most outstanding paper presented at QTNA2018.

Title: On the Impact of Job Size Variability on Heterogeneity-Aware Load Balancing

(b) Best Student Paper Award: It is given to the author of the best paper presented at QTNA2018 by a student and written primarily by himself/herself.

Best Paper Award and Best Student Paper Award Candidates: The FULL LNCS papers accepted and also presented at QTNA2018.
