上の図で同じ頂点は同一視する。
組合せ分割に関して
Constructibleではあるがshellableではない。 境界はあるが、可縮であることに注意するとshellableではないことが簡単に示せる。 Constructibleであることも簡単に確かめられる。
実はこれはshellableではないが、細分するとshellableになるという面白い例でもある。 つまり、2次元の一般の単体的複体に対して、shellabilityはトポロジカルではない ことが分かる。
